Volunteering at the Kids' Garden

Volunteering at the Kids' Garden is engaging, rewarding and delicious! Volunteers help in a variety of ways, from working directly with youth, to helping keep the garden beautiful all season long. Below you will find a description of our 2017 volunteer opportunities.

Weekly Volunteers

Our weekly volunteers visit the Kids' Garden for one full day each week and help lead students in a variety of hands-on gardening activities, including planting, harvesting, outdoor cooking, chicken fun, outdoor art projects - and more! Weekly volunteers also help with general garden maintenance and other special projects as needed throughout the season. These volunteers are integrated with our staff and interns, and are an indispensible part of our weekday team.
