Seeking a Gardener-in-Residence!

The Gardener-in-Residence (GiR) manages and maintains the school garden. Following best practices in the field of garden-based education, the Gardener-in-Residence serves as the primary garden instructor, providing weekly garden lessons to classes in spring and fall. The GiR collaborates with school administration, staff, students and families to ensure that school garden serves as a thriving teaching resource to the school community. This position is FLSA Non-exempt, LTE part-time at $12/hr.

The Gardens Network Assistant collaborates with the Gardens Director and Gardens Network Program Manager to provide on-the-ground support for high-priority community gardens in Madison and Dane County. Seeking a Farm Crew Leader!

Community GroundWorks is seeking a Farm Crew Leader for the 2017 growing season!

The Farm Crew Leader will work directly with our farm managers in all aspects of certified organic vegetable, herb and sprout production marketed through our CSA and wholesale channels. This is an  LTE/Seasonal, hourly position. The approximate schedule will be 16 hours per week in March and 32-40 hours per week April through October.

*This position requires a minimum of two full seasons of growing diversified vegetables in a production setting.
