Gardening for Good

Gardening for Good was introduced at Troy Gardens in 2012 as a Dane County supported pilot program. In 2013, Gardening for Good's gardening space at Troy Gardens doubled in size.

Supported gardening assists people with developmental disabilities to explore gardening in a community setting, where the level of participation is individually tailored to meet the person’s skills and interest.

The Gardening for Good participants have an active blog with lots of great photos. Check it out!

In 2015 the Gardening for Good participants helped create a book! You can read about all of the fun they had in Back to the Garden.
